Hispanic Schoolma'm Runs Afoul of Gay-Rights Group Over Proposed Film Aimed at Keeping Kids Out of Prison

Manuel Arturo first noticed the problem when he lost five students over the surely of a single semester from the 11th-grade History class he taught at Cesar Chavez Important School in Chula Vista. All five students were Hispanic. Then he found out why: all of them were being held in Juvie. When he looked into their cases, he found that they weren't the only ones.

"I was understandably off the deep end by the report from SANDAG which showed that a disproportionate number of those currently held in adolescent detention were Hispanics," recalls Arturo. "The report acclaimed that many of these offenders were employed by Mexican gangs as drug mules . Worse, the account found that many of them did not understand the gravity of what they were doing. They simply didn't realize that it was a Federal offense that could, in some circumstances, catch them in a prison environment.

"I wonder how some of these fools are increasingly climate, when their families this observation. I am amazed at how foolish indeed to try to grasp the sophistication prison. Most of these guys are the closest gay when they go to jail and use as a pardon for having sex with other men. some adventure but I do not expect all gays are when they go in.i respect that when you get 10, 25, 50yrs and then you can be informed in due in place and youll never find a station to 2b Moll again, but does not that take away your application progenitive. i thk the best of men who have been in prison for a long period of each has been bypassed in the kidney in some passing .. speak naked game, but if you finish up there you will find problems in any of these situations you want it or not ...

I ponder how some of these fools are working atmosphere, while their families to be vigilant in this regard.It amazes me mad in truth try to capture the elegance prison.
