Many sex-kin stories captured popular attention in 2011.  Most upsetting, many of the incidents concerned sexual violence.  Taken together, they indicate something bigger, deeper, enchanting place in America, a social crisis.  It’s as if the body discriminating is moaning, declaring that sexual intimacy, too, is a terrain of the mounting venereal crisis.

A number of nonviolent incidents are illustrative.  Most mournful, the outing of Herman Cain for an increasing number of disturbing actions involving women (e.g., pay-offs kindred to sexual harassment suits and an extramarital “friendship” with a skirt his wife didn’t know about) forced him out of the Republican presidential descent.  The Cain incident followed the outings of Congressmen Anthony Weiner (D-NY), Chris Lee (R-NY) and Streak Souder (R-IN) for inappropriate sex-related conduct, conduct that led to their resignations.

Animal politics also drew national attention.

It was recently forwarded to us in an email, and we cogitation that it expressed the emotions that so many Americans are feeling face now that we should proclaim it here.

I'm 63. Except for one semester in college when jobs were lacking and a six-month epoch when I was between jobs, but job-hunting every day, I've worked, tough, since I was 18. Undeterred by some vigorousness challenges, I still put in 50-hour weeks, and haven't called in heartsick in seven or eight years. I scram a A-OK compensation, but I didn't succeed to my job or my receipts, and I worked to get where I am. Dedicated the terseness, there's no retirement in disaster, and I'm weary of. Very exasperated by.
