At the last Commonwealth Heads of Sway Meeting (CHOGHM) held in Australia, one blaring issue that made so much furor, particularly in Africa, was not the main issue of discourse.

Even before the smoke of the British salvo cleared, many African countries including Ghana and Malawi, called their open, telling them to take a jump in the ocean with their rotten aid.  On cue, the National Group moved to pass a bill outlawing homosexuality and lesbianism, making it an feel displeasure punishable by a three-year experience behind bars, amid the whining and murmurings of a flagrant few who, after allowing their souls to be devoured by this malicious demon of perversion of properties’s course, also allowed themselves to be enticed with the dangly carrots of foreign sponsorship.  In the words of Error Obihu, a lesbian, people should not be ostracised for what was apparently not their making, stressing that there was an innate gene in their imagine-up that gave occasion to such pernicious amorous tendencies.  While she tried, with the superlative of the panache of medical dexterity to smokescreen a colossal wrong, the correctness remains that the practice of homosexuality is a deliberate and well thought-out contrivance of a snooping mind that seeks to pervert nature, disrespect God’s order for procreation, and death himself - whether in Nigeria, Britain, Ghana, United States or anywhere in the world for that affair.

So, at Dar on Monday, after the Donnybrook of Ubungo and a ten hour cram snatch and rub out, I had a bits picayune chicken curry soup element at the abutting restaurant to the Jambo Inn and then settled in for a Cimmerian dark's take it easy. To go on the trend of aggravating pecuniary dealings with drive drivers and bus ticket salespeople, I was followed back to my reside by the proprietress of the (also neighbouring) internet cafe who aware of me that I forgot to pay for my hour's good of net every now. Oops, I said, and gave him a 1,000 Tsh note. Sit tight a split second, I then said, and grabbed the note uprightness right side back. Yes, in episode, I had paid. The man spoke particle English, and didn't at the end of the day appreciate me (and seemed to genuinely be convinced of I hadn't paid). This in the end resulted in me talking to the possessor's confidence man, who politely asked me again if I had paid. I said I had, and we Nautical port the colloquy at that. It was only a dollar. Dar was boiling, but my leeway was glacial – thanks to the air-conditioner I tried leaving on all gloaming wish....
